VIEWS/OPINIONS STATED HERE ARE INTENDED TO ASSIST
PEOPLE TO USE IN THEIR STRUGGLE WITH EVERYDAY
LIFE SITUATIONS. WE KINDLY ASK OUR READERS NOT TO
TAKE COMMENTS PERSONALLY.

         WAYS TO LIGHTEN UP

- watch an episode of Mr. Bean
- decorate your bedroom with toilet paper
- wear your clothes backwards & inside out
- daydream
- stand in the big field and yell
- do something nice for someone
- invent a new laugh
- play with your food
- name your clothes
- talk to your cat, dog or plant
- meditate
- take 15 -30 minutes naps not at your office while
  working
- cry, relieves burden you are carrying & will heal you
- relax in a warm bathtub
- practice & learn to forgive before sundown to person
who may have done you wrong

Do not make your life more miserable or make it your problem
when your family member gets into trouble with somebody else.
Do not retaliate or get involved in the conflict. Remain neutral
and be fair to both sides to resolve the problem

                          FORGIVENESS

Forgiveness is not easy to do but it does help a lot with
everyday problems when you are able to forgive.
Purpose of forgiving is to release your mind from the
pain of held resentments, to set yourself free, to let go
of the past & put it behind you & go on with your life.
If you are to heal fully. You will need to forgive fully.

                   RESPECT: What is respect?

Respect is showing courtesy, consideration, politeness
& honor towards another person.
Respect is treating others with consideration by
avoiding interference, harming, degrading, insulting,
injuring or interrupting.
Everybody wants or deserves respect no matter how
old you are or what has been happening with your
life.
Think twice before you say something bad about
another person even if that person does not hear you.
Respect cannot be given on a silver platter. You have
to earn it yourself by showing respect to others and
by being kind, polite, helpful & considerate in manner.
The community & world would have less problems if
we all can practice respecting each other.

                         THE THREE R'S

                   Respect for Self
                Respect for Others
    Responsibility for all your Actions

                 The Three Windows

1. How you see yourself.
2. How other people see you.
3. How God sees you.
No. 1: We all think we are always right
what we say and do. Blame somebody
else for problems we encounter. We do
not see or refuse to see and accept
negative qualities of our personalities.
No. 2: Other people tend to see who
we really are, the positive & negative
qualities of our personalities. Usually
they tend to see negative qualities more
than positive qualities. But don't let that
bring you down. We all have done good
things for people, a kind smile, a hand
shake, a hug, gave money, bought a
cup of coffee etc. goes a long way and
means a lot to people.
No.3: You will never be able to hide any-
thing from God. He knows everything
about you.

A THANK YOU NOTE FROM A DAUGHTER
                  TO HER MOM AND DAD

Thank you Mom and Dad
Mom and Dad, we have a special relationship that
hasn't happen overnight.
It comes through years of learning, sharing & growing.
I know there has been times in my life when I had
trouble accepting the things you were trying to teach
me when I thought you were being too strict or old
fashioned when I thought you did not understand.
But I've come to realize that you understood all along
that you were guiding me not only with love but with
your experience as parents.
Because of the ways you've cared, I know I am a better
person. I know I'm better prepared for whatever life
has to offer.
From the deepest part of my heart, I want to thank you
for the many kind and helpful things you have done for
me over the years and I want you to know that your
friendship and love has meant so much to me.
You've always been there when I needed you and you
have certainly filled my life with many bright & happy
moments which I will always keep in my fondest memory.
Now I feel so much closer to you both. And more & more
I find new ways to relate to you, new feelings to share.
We have so much in common as adults, as friends and
so much to look forward to in the years ahead.
Your love touches me everyday.
I  love you very much, Mom and Dad.

It was unbelievable how much support our jailed leaders
got from across Canada as well as from other countries.
Words cannot describe how greatful we are.
God bless you all.

KI PEOPLE ARE VERY GRATEFUL FOR THE
SUPPORT  WE GOT FROM THE NON-NATIVE

our traditional hunting, trapping & fishing lands and
waters for our children, their children and future
native and non-native generations to come.
